We've been upgrading www.fbwwm.org for the past 4+ weeks.  We upgraded the back-end Content Management System (CMS) from Mambo 4.5.2.1 to Joomla 1.0.15 with the help of Phil Taylor from www.Phil-Taylor.com. 

After we got the back-end CMS upgraded we had to upgrade and add some new stuff to make it better compatible with the new back-end system, Joomla.  We had some major security holes that had to be resolved before the site could go live again.

We upgraded the Directory.  We added a completely new Photo Gallery that is Flash and AJAX and XML, very slick.  We added a completely new Prayer Center that replaced the old Prayer Request section.  Several modules were upgraded.  A major upgrade was done to the Prayer Letter section of the site (DOCman) adding new features and some upgraded icons for a fresh look.

July 23, 2008 we felt that the site was fully secure and ready for public consumtion again.  A HUGE Thank You to Phil Taylor and his team for all their help and advice.  Thank you to Josh at Getek for the Expose 4 Gallery add-on and for helping with the adjustments.
